How to transfer from Grade 10 abroad to Ontario high school
Daughter finished Grade 10 in Europe (IB MYP). We’re moving to Toronto next summer and want her to get Ontario diploma (OSSD). Is it possible to join directly Grade 11 or do we need a preparatory year first?

Many international students in this situation choose the Pre-OSSD program at Imperial College Toronto first. They evaluate your transcript, give credits for subjects that match, and place you either in fast-track Grade 11 or in Pre-OSSD for one semester/year to fill gaps in English and Canadian curriculum.
